• Cost & Budget — Know what a database costs before the invoice arrives. Month-to-date spend across the three axes D1 bills on, rows read, rows written, and stored bytes, with billable usage separated from what your plan covers. Viewing it is free, and every remote database carries its month-to-date figure in the sidebar. • Recovery Center (Pro) — Back up before you write. D1 "Export Snapshot" runs Cloudflare's official export: a .sql dump that preserves BLOBs byte-for-byte. Local SQLite uses VACUUM INTO. Time Travel restore rolls a D1 database back to any point in Cloudflare's retention window, always taking a pre-restore backup first and offering one-click undo.

• Wrangler Project Import — Point D1Explorer at any Cloudflare Worker repo and it finds every local D1 under .wrangler/state, resolves binding names from wrangler.toml, and adds them in a single click.

Your Cloudflare API tokens are stored only in the macOS Keychain: encrypted by the OS, never in plain text, never sent to third parties. D1Explorer connects straight to Cloudflare's API, with no intermediary servers. Local SQLite files use security-scoped bookmarks with full App Sandbox compliance.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

D1Explorer collects no analytics, no telemetry, and no user data of its own. Everything happens on your Mac. Cost & Budget reads your usage figures from Cloudflare's analytics API using your own token, and they go nowhere else. The Query Notebook's snippets and history are stored on your Mac and never synced. Recorded SQL is kept exactly as you typed it, so it can contain literals from your data: delete any row, clear a connection's history, or turn recording off in Settings.
