NZBolt is a native macOS download manager for NZB files. Add an NZB and it handles the rest: download, PAR2 verification and repair, archive extraction, and final file
organization.
Built as a real Mac app, NZBolt fits into macOS with drag and drop, notifications, Keychain storage, dark mode, keyboard shortcuts, and a clean queue-focused interface.
KEY FEATURES
• Automated downloads: import an NZB once and NZBolt downloads, verifies, repairs, extracts, and moves the result to your destination folder.
• Native macOS experience: drag NZBs from Finder, use a watched folder, get system notifications, and manage the queue with standard Mac controls.
• Multi-server support: configure primary and backup Usenet servers with SSL/TLS, connection limits, priority ordering, and secure Keychain credentials.
• Reliable resume: progress is saved continuously, so downloads can continue after quitting, restarting, or losing power.
• Built-in repair and extraction: PAR2 verification and repair plus RAR, 7z, and ZIP extraction, including password-protected archives.
• Self-contained app: one signed app bundle with the required helpers included. No runtime installer, background service, or Rosetta required.
• Speed control: run at full speed or throttle downloads when you need bandwidth for something else.
• Inspector: review stage progress, per-file status, passwords, and errors from a slide-out detail pane.
• Disk-space aware: downloads pause automatically when space is low and resume once you make room.
• Sleep prevention: your Mac stays awake while downloads are active and returns to normal sleep behavior when the queue is idle.
• Apple Silicon native: built for M-series Macs with fast yEnc decoding.
REQUIREMENTS
macOS 15 Sequoia or later. Apple Silicon Mac. Usenet account required and not included.
PRIVACY
