SELECT is a minimal launcher built around one idea: instead of scrolling endless app icons, organize what you actually use into 5 purpose-based categories.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Menu-bar icon per category — one click opens a popover with the items pinned to that tab.
• Floating bar that sits over any workspace, toggled with a global hotkey (default ⌘⇧0).
• Multiple modes (profiles) — e.g. "Work" / "Home" / "Focus" — each with its own tab pinning, label style, and floating-bar setup.
• Launch anything: apps, URLs, Shortcuts.app shortcuts, files, and folders.
• Folders to group related items inside each tab.
• iCloud sync across your CloudKit private database — your data stays in your own account; no one else can see it, not even the developer.
• Local JSON export / import for backup or migration.
• Drag and drop to reorder items, move into folders, or send across tabs.
• Dark mode locked — designed for focus.
• Built with SwiftUI + SwiftData. App Sandbox enforced. No analytics, no ads, no third-party network requests apart from Apple's iTunes Search (for icon fetch) and iCloud.
