A ripe watermelon sounds different from an unripe one — deeper, more hollow. Your phone can hear the difference. Buttekha combines the sound of the knock with what the field spot (the pale patch on the bottom) looks like to make its call.

Buttekha listens to the same acoustic cues and combines them with visual signals from the photo to make a calibrated prediction. Both signals contribute to the verdict; when they disagree, confidence is shown lower.
