It renders Mermaid diagrams the moment you open a file, shows your document in clean GitHub-style formatting, and lets you drop into the raw source whenever you want to edit. No Electron, no clutter. Just a focused, native Mac app. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Read beautifully. Documents render in crisp, GitHub-flavored Markdown with syntax-highlighted code blocks. • See diagrams live. Mermaid flowcharts, sequence diagrams, Gantt charts and more render automatically as you open or edit. • Edit in place. Toggle between rendered preview and Markdown source with a keystroke, and edit directly in either. • Live reload. Change a file in another editor and Sirène updates instantly. Atomic saves are handled cleanly. • Work in tabs. Open as many documents as you like in native macOS tabs, and pick up right where you left off after a relaunch. • Find your way. Jump around with a Table of Contents sidebar and in-document search. • Print and export. Print or save to PDF with proper formatting and rendered diagrams intact. AI-ASSISTED WRITING (OPTIONAL) Leave a TODO marker like [[:TODO write an introduction]] in your document and run Enhance to have Claude write it for you, in your document's own tone and structure. Drop a .sirene.md file in a folder to share house style, facts, and terminology across every document in it. This feature is entirely optional and uses your own Anthropic API key, stored securely in your macOS Keychain. Document content is sent to Anthropic only when you choose to run Enhance.
