HEALTHKIT INTEGRATION

GemStep uses HealthKit to read step totals from Apple Health, so you do not need to enter steps manually or keep the app open while you walk.

Walk with your iPhone or any compatible device that saves steps to Apple Health, and GemStep applies the latest available totals when it syncs.

GemStep requests read-only access to step totals. It does not read walking routes or precise location, and it never writes data to Apple Health.

HOME SCREEN WIDGETS

Widgets update throughout the day according to the refresh timing allowed by iOS.
